Pope Francis' bright smile flashed upon Jamie Rivera and the children that sang the Papal Visit Theme Song. This happened on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Jamie Rivera sang the song, "We Are All God's Children". She was accompanied by a number of children that was doing the interpretation of the song through hand gestures and dance steps.

The song is focused on "humility" and "solidarity with the poor and mercy to the weak". Just like the main focus of the Papal Visit that focuses to the mercy and compassion to children and the poor.

Pope's visit in the country is to enlighten the Filipino people that there is hope. Despite the problems, Pope Francis wanted to show them that you just have to be strong to face another day.

The audience swayed together as Jamie Rivera sung the song from the bottom of her heart. They were holding a flashing light as a sign of support.

In Southern Carolina, a flashing object that looked like it was crashing from the sky was caught on camera. The trail of the object appeared as if it was lighting up.

The said flight was consist of a total of 162 people, 6 children, a baby, 2 pilots and 5 cabin crew. Lots of lives were lost including those very young ones.

Khairunnisa Haidar Kauzi, a 22-year old flight attendant was one of the unfortunate passengers of the AirAsia flight QZ8501. Ever since she was a child, she had been dreaming of becoming a stewardess. Her dream came true once she was accepted in the Malaysian-owned airline. She was a former Law student, her family often calls her as "Beauty and Brain". She was also nicknamed by her family as "Nisa".

The said flight attendant caught a lot of attention from different social medias after she posted a photo on her instagram account.

Written in violet ink on a piece of napkin was "I Love You From 38000 ft." The picture showed was said to be her message for her boyfriend Divo. It wasn't clear yet if the note was written before the tragedy.

This video was filmed using a GoPro, the couple was having a good time taking videos and selfies of the beach and the island of Akumal, Mexico.

The weather was not that good. It was pouring in that particular area so there is a huge chance that there might be a storm coming.

While they were fascinated by the amazing tourist spot in that area, a lightning almost struck the couple.

As they were trying to take a selfie, something exploded at the back of the video. They say it was a lightning that almost hit them. Luckily they were not hurt because it was a little far from their exact location.

The explosion was caught on camera and the reaction of the couple were priceless. They were so shocked that they their reactions could not be expressed clearly.

A devastating news came upon the friends, relatives and families of the passengers of AirAsia flight QZ8501. On Sunday morning, the flight disappeared from the radar of the company.

Total of 162 passengers were missing as well, it was just 40 minutes after the flight had departed on the airport. It was the flight from Indonesia to Singapore.

It was supposed to be a two-hour flight to reach the land of Singapore but the passengers did not have any chance of setting their feet on the Singapore Airport.

Although no confirmed information about the flight yet, some Indonesian rescuers concluded that the flight might be deep down in the ocean as of this moment. The last contact they had with the flight is when the plane asked permission to change routes and fly higher over the Java Sea to avoid the clouds. But after that, there was no contact with the plain anymore.

A total of 155 passengers, five cabin crews and two pilots were the people included in the flight missing. There is an infant and 16 children along.

The AirAsia had no trouble when it comes to their planes before. They had passed the safety standard and regulations before that is why a lot of people were shocked about the news.

The management and the rescuers are doing their best to search for the missing plane. They are hoping that there will be positive results in the search and rescue operations.  Everyone is hoping that the passengers and crew of the plane is in a safe place. All we can do right now is to pray for their safety.

Smokers are aware of the outcomes that may happen if they don't quit smoking. Warnings are being given out everywhere. Smoking is one of the major causes of mortality. Every 6.5 seconds a person passes away from smoking related diseases.

A former smoker named Terrie Hall gives out tips to the current smokers of this generation. Terrie was diagnosed with cancer 11 times.

She said that she already knew how to smoke at the young age of 13 years old. Since her father was a smoker and a lot of her friends were smoking as well she was influenced to do it as well. She just feels that it was the right thing to do at that time.

At the age of 40 years old, she was diagnose with oral cancer. She had a sore in her mouth and had to undergo radiation treatments. She didn't quit smoking but then she was diagnosed with throat cancer and had a laryngectomy. The doctors removed her voice box and she could not speak again.

She is one of the people who pushes for the campaign to stop people from smoking. She is feature in the advertisements that was created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Although Terrie survive 10 cancer diagnosis the 11th time was already terminal. She passed away on September 15, 2013 at the age of 53. Two days before her death she was filmed by CDC and the footage was used for the smoking advertisements.

The father and daughter dance is one of the most awaited part of the wedding ceremonies. It is the part where the father holds his daughter and dances her like she was still her princess.

Lisa Wilson decided to dance with his father David Wilson even though he cannot get up and dance with her. Her father didn't want to because he can't do it. But Lisa Wilson said that she will be dancing with his hands. In the tune of "I will Always Love You".

After their dance, Lisa Wilson cannot express how happy and emotional she is because this dance might be the last one that they can do.

At the young age of 12 years old, Rhema Marvanne had already touched so many hearts through her gospel singing.

She started earning the internet fame when her daddy, Teton Voraritskul recorded her version of "Amazing Grace" which was her first song to be recorded and uploaded online. After the video went viral, she had so many guestings and even performed on talent competitions. Some of it were Korean show Star Kin, Most talented kids 2010 and the Maury Povich Show.

Every when she goes the crowd always bursts into tears for her songs that are filled with so much emotion that is rarely heard at a young age. Perhaps her mother, Wendi Marvanne who passed away because of advanced Ovarian Cancer.

Rhema did not leave the side of her mother. She was present during her darkest days while having the treatment. They were both fighting hard in the battle of her mom. She did everything that she knew would help ease the pain of her mother. She held her hand and smiled at her.

But some thing's are just destined to end. Rhema was sitting on the side of his mother when she took her last breath. This maybe her inspiration whenever she sings in front of a huge crowd.

Her emotions when she sings will really show you how painful life had been for her when her mother was still suffering from illness. But wherever her mom is, she truly is blessed to see that her wonderful child has touched so many lives.

It was a prestigious event and one of our fellow Kababayan was great enough to win one of those State teacher of the Year award. She was none other that a teacher named Lovelyn Marquez-Prueher. She was originally from the land of Cavite.

She is the fist Filipino to win the State teacher of the year award. She current teaches at the Dodson Middle School.

In one of the interview she said, "I'm absolutely thrilled and honored. It's really a wonderful opportunity to talk to parents, talk to fellow teachers, talk to students all over California about what it's like to be an immigrant, someone who was suspected of having a learning disability, having to overcome those obstacles."

A lot of her students were having problems learning English. They could not adopt quickly to the fast paced lessons on English language.

Teacher Lovelyn was not a stranger to this problem for she had experienced it as well when she was just new to the place.

She uses a different kind of technique that will surely give the chance to students to have fun while studying. She uses various methods with a combination of interaction and fun games.

It is truly an honor to have a fellow Filipino to win an extravagant award as the State Teacher of the Year.

Based on the interview Zuckerburg said that, "But there are more sentiments that people want to express than just positivity. A lot of times people share things on Facebook that are sad moments in their lives. And often people tell us that they don't feel comfortable pressing 'like' because it isn't appropriate.

He wanted to put it in a positive way that it could lessen the dangers of the dislike button. The existence of Like button had been significant to the users because it shows the compassion of other people towards the updates of one person.

Adding the dislike button can put other people into shame because of the amount of dislikes and negative things that they can get.

A waitress named Cindi Grady working in Cracker Barrel received a wonderful present for the holidays. She got her biggest tip in her lifetime which is a silver 2008 Ford Fusion.

Couple Gary and Roxann often go to the restaurant where Cindi was waiting tables. Since they were regular customers of the diner they notices a blue car that almost looks like it is not working anymore. The window was just covered by plastic. They asked the employees of the diners and found out that it belongs to the waitress who had been working in the restaurant for more than two years.

Cindi had never stopped working so hard in the restaurant. She said that she loves working at the diner waiting tables. The Tackett couple knew that they had to do something good for Cindi.

In a video filmed by Gary and Roxann's daughter a few weeks before Christmas, they gave Cindi the tip that she would never imagine she would have.
