January 15, 1995 more than five million people had gathered at the Luneta Park Manila to witness the holiness of the Pope and also to celebrate the World Youth Day.

In celebrating the World Youth Day way back 1995 the crowd were the ones singing and interpreting the song "Tell The World Of His Love". During the celebration with the Pope the weather seemed to be fine. Luneta Park was filled with Catholics and Non-Catholic people and also there were bigger numbers of children who went to Luneta Park in order for the World Youth Day. In the video of the 1995 World Youth Day, reporters said that the Pope Saint John Paull II will use the chopper again to leave the place because there were no place to move bacause of too much people.

After 20 years, the Pope once again visited Philippines. Pope Francis went in the Philippines for the Papal Visit. Compared to the 1995 Papal Visit of Pope Saint John Paul II, Pope Francis used a Pope Mobile to reach every destination.

Millions of people waited for hours just to get a glimpse of Pope Francis. Other people who wanted to see the Pope just waited in the road where the Pope Mobile will pass through.

The same with the 1995 World Youth Day, In the 2015's Papal Visit all together people sang the theme song of the 1995 World Youth Day entitled "Tell The World Of His Love" but this time a 13 year old Darren Espanto was leading the song while some of the 1,000 choir member and the 200 orchestra member were in the stage Interpreting the song together with Pope Francis.

Although there was a heavy rain due to the tropical storm people still managed to wait and attend the mass of Pope Francis in UST Manila and in Quirino Grandstand Manila. Everyone was singing the song "Tell The World Of His Love", the song that was composed by Trina Belmide which is a song about discipleship. While singing, people were holding candles in their hands while getting drenched in the heavy rain.

In both Papal Visits of 1995 and 2015, people were really thankful and felt really blessed because of Pope Saint John Paul II and Pope Francis.

Let's accept the fact that most of the street children already lost their respect for other people, while others are already in use of drug.

Sunday Morning at the University of Santo Tomas, two former street children shared their life before "Tuluyan ng Kabataan Foundation" helped them.

Both children, Glyzelle Palomar and Jun Chura said that "Tuluyan ng Kabataan Foundation" gave them another life, a life that will become more meaningful.

"Bigla akong nabuhayan na hindi lahat ng tao ay walang puso," Jun Chura said 

Jun Chura a 14 year old boy who left their house because of poverty. He had experienced to look for bottles, plastics and other recyclable stuff to sell to use the money for food. Jun also said that he used cardboard as his bed to sleep with. Jun had seen other street children who fight with each other because of the stolen money they got.

Because of everything that Glyzelle and Jun experienced Glyzelle asked a question that somehow needs an answer.

"Bakit po pumapayag ang Diyos na mayroong ganitong nangyayari? Dahil walang kasalanan ang mga bata at bakit kaunti lang ang mga taong tumutulong sa amin," Glyzelle Asked the Pope.

Both of the childre was hugged alternately by the Pope. The Pope thanked both of the children for the bravery they got and for having strength to open up and share their lives as street kids to other people.

"Women have much to tell us...Women are capable of seeing things in a different angle. Women can pose questions that we men cannot understand," Pope said pertaining to Glyzelle. 

Because of Glyzelle's question The Pope told the organizers that more girls should be given oppurtunity to speak "when the next pope comes"

"Why do children suffer so much? Why do children suffer? When the heart is able to ask itself and cry, then we can understand something. There is a worldly compassion, which is useless. You spoke something of this. It is a compassion which moreover leads us to put our hand into the pocket and give something to someone, to the poor." The Pope said. 

The Pope even said that the world today lacked the capacity of knowing to cry. That even Jesus in the Bible cried for his friend Lazarus.

"When we pose this question to us, why children suffer, why this or that tragedy occurs in life, our response must either be silence or a word that is born of our tears." The Pope added.

Palo Archbishop John F. Du could not find the right words to express his deepest gratitude towards the Pope. He gave thanks for bringing comfort to the people who were affected by the previous super typhoon.

BREAKING: Tropical Storm Mekkhala "Amang" Killed a Papal Mass Volunteer.

Despite the heavy rain the Pope still managed to finish a mass in the Central Philippine island for the survivors of a catastrophic typhoon 14 months ago that killed thousands and thousands of lives.

During the mass of Pope Francis a woman who's working as a volunteer for Pope Francis' mass in the Philippines was killed by the Tropical Storm Mekkhala (Amang).

Father Amadeo Alvero, The spokesperson for the Archdiocese of Palo told the reporters that the stormy weather sent steel scaffolding that crashed onto the woman. The scaffolding hit the chest of the 21-year old woman and got her pinned to the ground killing her.

The said woman was one of the volunteers helping at the mass that was held earlier in the day at the Tacloban airport which attracted almost 200,000 people to attend.

The Pope was then forced to fly back to Manila four hours earlier than the schedule because of the Tropical Storm Mekkhala (Amang).

Although they knew that the Pope is not going to visit Cebu, the inmates of the City still gave out their best performance as a celebration of Pope Francis visit here in the Philippines.

The inmates performed another dance which they were known for. The presentation started of with a Gregorian Chant as they took their places for the formation. The performance happened on January 15.

Then the song, "We are all God's children" played and the inmates danced as if it was their last performance.

Based on the statement of the Lead Choreographer Vince Morales, The inmates were so dedicated with what they were doing that it only took them 2 days to complete the whole routine.

They also asked the opinion of several priests to make sure that their performance would be presentable.

The 24 year old girl was knon to be Ma. Arnie Bordales. She was originally from Barangay Mahabang Parang in Angono, Rizal.

She was first reported missing after she failed to come into the place where she was supposed to be staying. She was supposed to be sending out a confirmation on the caretaker of the resort.

According to the witness, She saw a tired-looking woman who entered the fast food. The woman approached the crew who was cleaning the table to ask if she could eat the leftovers. What the manager and the crew did was behind your expectations.

According to Mimi Lizada Bhatti's Facebook post, when the woman was about to leave the fast food, the crew followed her to come back. At first she wondered why, and when the woman came back Mimi then realized that there was a Chicken meal on the table that the woman left. Mimi asked the crew who payed for the meal and he said that the manager did. Mimi then asked the guard to give her burger to the woman.

This story is shared on Facebook by Poy Yumping. A very inspiring story of a soldier who works at night as a taxi driver.

"I’m a disabled person and I want to share my great experience this morning with this taxi driver. Nag-aabang ako ng taxi with my Mom sa kanto namin dito sa Taguig. 5:00am dumaan si sir at agad namin pinara. Tinigilan niya kami at nagtanong kung saan kami papunta." Poy said. 

Poy told the driver that they were heading to Philippine Orthopedic Center.

the driver told Poy that he was about to end his shift that's why he won't be able to drive them to their destination but he offered them a free ride because he will just drop them off to a place near the Orthopedic Center.

When they got in, Poy then realized that the driver is a soldier. The driver was on his way to Camp Aguinaldo and works as a taxi driver at night to earn money for his three children on college, another one in highschool and his adopted daughter. At the end of their ride, Poy offered to pay for the ride but the driver refused to take it.

The soldier was said to be Mr. Elnar his cab plate number is UVA-164 Conqueror.

A government worker proves her honesty and integrity as she returned the P9, 000 cash that was left by an elderly woman who used the ATM before her.

Mai Novilla Palomer used the ATM machine at a shopping center in Davao City. It was in Victoria Plaza Mall. But she did not expect that she will be seeing P9, 000 pesos in the machine which appeared to be forgotten by the elder woman before her. 

A capture photo of the receipt indication the last 3 digits of the account number and the amount withdrawn was uploaded on Mai Novilla Palomer's Facebook account. It also showed the date December 20, 2014 when the incident happened. 

In the caption, she said that she turned over the cash to the chief security of the Victoria Plaza Mall. She even put up a number and a person to contact in case there is someone who knows the elder woman who left the cash. 

She also explained that the she did not have the time to send the money to the bank because she was busy that day. 

Mai Novilla Palomer works as a personal secretary at the Provincial Capitol of Davao Del Sur.

According to coolbuster, Davao Del Sur Governor Claude "Auding" Bautista should be proud of her honest employee.

BSP will release commemorative coins in honor of the OFWs

In honor of the hard working Overseas Filipino Workers, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas will be launching the new designs of the commemorative coins of the Philippines. One of the designs were inspired by the modern heroes of the generation, the OFWs.

There are three new designs for the limited edition of the new coins which will be released on December 22. Two designs are for the 5 peso coins and one for the 10 peso coin.

The design for the P10 is in honor of one of the greatest Philippine heroes of all time, Apolinario Mabini on his 150th year.

One of the P5 peso design is for the 70th anniversary of the Landing in Leyte Gulf.

And for the heroes of the new generation, one of the designs of the P5 is to commemorate the suffering and hardworks of the OFWs.

According to the statement that was released by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, "As a matter of policy, the BSP commemorates significant events and heroic Filipinos in our country’s history through the minting of coins, medals or overprints on our banknotes."

The last commemorative coins that was created by BSP was the 150th year of Andres Bonifacio and the 150th year of the National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. It was released in 2013.

The BSP is also planning to create commemorative coins for the Papal Visit of Pope Francis in the Philippines that will be happening in January.

It is truly amazing to cherish the sacrifices that these heroes have given us. They deserved to be commemorated in the best way possible.

Everyday millions of remittances are being received by families here in the Philippines. These remittances are the fruits of labor and hardwork of their loved ones who sacrificed being away from their families.

The people who are working abroad suffers from loneliness but aside from that an OFW's life is mainly about giving your family what they need. Often times, the OFW would skip their meals just to have an extra money to give to them. Instead of enjoying their meals they would always think of their families here in the Philippines. That's the saddest part of being an OFW, it is okay to have nothing as long as there is something that you can give to your families.

There is no question why Overseas Filipino Workers are considered to be the heroes of the new generation. Their bravery and strength to conquer the longing that they feel just to provide for their families is the greatest attribute that they have.

It was the principle that the Actor Phillip Salvador stood for when he defended a staff of a restaurant from a foreigner who was berating her.

The incident took place in SM Megamall at an Italian Restaurant Sbarro on Tuesday while he and his wife was having their meal.

The Norweigan National was described as a man in his mid 40's as tall as 6 foot. He got mad and complained about the spaghetti that he ordered.

It was Salvador's wife, Emma Ledesma who heard the foreigner calling the staffs "Stupid" and "Idiots".

Salvador could not help but get in the way of the pissed foreigner who was throwing unpleasant words at the staffs of the restaurant. The waitress was already crying because of that.

When he confronted the foreigner, he cursed at the actor asking who is he and why is he getting in between the waitress and him. He also said that it was none of his business.

According to Salvador, the foreigner also said that he will be calling the police but Salvador did not walk away instead he asked him to fight with each other.

Salvador said, 

You don't insult the Filipinos. Let's get out of this place, I'm going to fight you. You only know how to scream at girls!"

No one should put others into shame. They cannot scream and yell at people like they were superior to them.

This 9 year old boy has a larger heart than most of the adults in this world. Ken's first picture trends online. It was a photo capture while he was feeding 3 stray dogs.

Then, he had a dream of building an animal shelter for those dogs who doesn't have their own homes. But his father told him that it would take a lot of money including the place, dog foods and the materials needed for the animal shelter.

But his photo that went viral gained help. Other people who has hearts for the dogs offered their assistance to the plans of Ken. They gave out money, time and hardwork to build up the animal shelter.

The netizens covered for all the costs of building the animal shelter. A lot of people also went into his home and said that they will be taking care of the animals as well.

There were also "Bahay Kubo" that was bought for the stray animals to stay in. It costs up to P16, 000 pesos each. Fences are also built to keep the animals from escaping.

After two months of proper caring, Ken's dogs named whitey, blacky and browny has gained weight and looks good compared last time.

The lady was identified as Jobelle Bascug on December 5. The salon owner of Nails and Cocktails Salon in Raintree mall posted the photo of Jobell on Facebook to look for her and give the netizens a warning about her modus. The owner was named Christy Sigvathesen.

The amount that Jobelle did not settle in Christy's Salon was amounting to P2,000. This was the services that was done for her eye-lash extension, hair color and nails work.

The photo was uploaded by Christy Sigvathesen with a caption of, “Please be aware of this lady named Belle. She came in the salon Thursday (December 4) around 6 pm. She took advantage of almost everything the salon had to offer. She was chatty and friendly and boasted about her poultry business and metal works in Balamban. She first got manicure and pedicure while having her hair dyed. She was extremely satisfied and asked for more services. She asked for highlights and eyelash extensions. She stayed in the salon til 1230 AM. When she was all done, she said she miss some cash and had to run to the ATM. She left her bag and ran out,”.

After the incident in the salon, Jobelle was brought to the Asturias Police Station. She was reported by the Cabo Resort Management where she was currently staying for the failure to pay the amount of P15, 000.

The resort management will be filing a case of estafa for Jobelle Bascug.

Jobelle was also the same beautiful woman who shoplifted clothes in Mandaue City last August amounting to P20, 000.
