Vice Ganda's movie earns top spot in MMFF Box Office race

According to the Chairman of Metro Manila Development Authority, Fracis Tolentino, they were expecting an increase ofd 10% in the ticket sales for the 2014 MMFF. This was based on the number of people who watched the show on the opening day.
Chairman Tolentino said, Ngayon po as of 3 p.m. ang tingin namin ay mahihigitan. Itong crowd kasi ngayon hindi alam na maaga ang bukas, may dadagsa pa. Ang tingin namin ay baka mahigitan pa ng 10 percent yung kinita noong nakaraang film festival.”
Then he added, “Ang number 1 po as of 3 p.m. kanina ay yung 'Praybeyt Benjamin,' 'yung number 2 and number 3 neck-and-neck po ang labanan ng 'Feng Shui 2' at ang 'My Big Bossing’s Adventures.' Number 4 ay ‘yung 'Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles,'"
The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin was in the lead over the other entries such as Feng Shui, My Big Bossing's Adventures, Aswang Chronicles, Shake, Rattle and Roll XV, English Only, Please and a lot more.
On December 27, the awards night will be happening at the Philippine International Convention Center. The winners will be announce there. Tolentino said that the result of the sales will affect the best picture award.
